Tips for Trainees – Advice for Trainee Solicitors in Scotland and Beyond from our Managing Director”

Lockdown has been very tough for Trainees and NQ lawyers. Most of us learn from watching others who are more experienced. In a new series of videos our MD Eric Baijal gives us some thoughts he would normally share with Trainees and less experienced lawyers in person when they join the Insolvency and Litigation teams at BBM. We hope a wider audience finds useful too; hopefully these tips may be useful for trainees and juniors in other professions. Feel free to comment, question, and add your own thoughts (whether to agree or disagree!) on LinkedIn here.

In addition to any advertised vacancies on our legal careers page, we are also interested in hearing from able and ambitious solicitors on a speculative basis (whether their expertise complements our existing practice, or they have specialist knowledge of other areas of commercial practice). Informal enquiries may be made to Eric here.
