BBM Solicitors are delighted to have been recommended by a second leading legal directory in the space of a few weeks
Chambers and Partners undertakes detailed research around the world into lawyers and the provision of legal services.
The BBM Team has again been recommended for its insolvency and restructuring work in the Chambers 2020 directory.
Chambers notes that the BBM team advises on both contentious and non-contentious restructuring and insolvency matters, with a focus on working with insolvency practitioners and has experience of high-value asset recovery and fraud-related matters. It is noted for its work on cross-border mandates and its strength on matters in the oil and gas sector.
Chambers reported commentators indicating of BBM: “They’re very strong technically and producers of very high-quality work.” Chambers noted commentators as saying:”It’s a very good boutique and they know what they’re doing – it’s a good firm.“
BBM’s Managing Director, Eric Baijal, who last year was described by commentators as ‘rapidly becoming the go to insolvency lawyer in Scotland, was again individually praised. The rankings noted that his commercial approach and ability to “drive things forward very efficiently” come to the fore in his insolvency practice, which sees him advise on international restructuring projects and handle litigation matters. Clients say: “He’s very client and solution focused, with a strong desire to achieve a result.”
Eric Baijal said: ‘As a small Scottish boutique firm we are again delighted be recognised as punching above our weight in delivering quality legal services from our offices in Wick and Edinburgh. We are very proud of our team who have had their efforts independently recognised once again.’
